Rudy's Road To Recovery
Donation protected

Sunday, June 9th, Pro Prept Rudy was doing what he loves at Barona Oaks motocross track in Ramona, helping his friends.
He was standing near the track with his screwdriver in hand checking out suspension when a rider came up short on the top of a jump crashing and sending a bike hurdling into him.
Rudy was taken by ambulance a short distance then by helicopter to Sharp Hospital where he was rushed into emergency surgery to save his life. Rudy's spleen was removed and he suffered injuries to his kidneys, a brain injury, severe arm injury, and damage to an artery on the side of his neck. (possibly more)
He's in ICU and sedated and phone calls and visits are limited to family only at this point.
If you know Rudy, it's not motorcycles that he loves, it's his people! He spends countless hours driving and sitting at the track, coaching, fine tuning, complaining and roosting like no other 60+ year old.
He also loves his family and his community. He makes his rounds to his favorite local pubs checking in. If you've chatted with Rudy across the bar, you know he truly cares and gets joy out of being with you.
Rudy has great family support from his close brothers and sisters but will need financial support as he takes his longest ride yet.
I'll be using your donations to pay a few of his important shop expenses such as utilities and rent then depositing 100% into his bank account for him as he slowly returns to mobility.
Let's fill the stands, cheer hard, and support this great man that is always there for so many of us.
The rider that crashed was also seriously injured and taken by helicopter. As I type this I don't know his name or condition but ask that you pray for him and his family as well. We are all part of the same moto family and I imagine them just as devastated as we are.
Thank you,
