CANCER SUCKS!

I’m Autumn, Katy’s aunt and I could end this story with cancer sucks. Many, if not all of us, have had experience with cancer. Rudy and Katy are beginning their cancer story and I want to invite you all to pray, fast, focus or do whatever it is you believe is best to help support them during this time. They are grateful for it all as they take one day at a time and work through this.

As many of you know, Rudy has been in a tremendous amount of pain since November 2023 and on Feb 20, 2024, he was diagnosed with Chordoma. The financial aspects of this journey are going to be extensive. Rudy’s surgery cannot be done in Utah and their health insurance will not cover procedures done out of state. As I am writing this, Rudy and Katy are in Idaho meeting with a neurosurgeon and have decided to work with his team. Surgery is scheduled for March 8th with potential radiation after.

Rudy and Katy have a fantastic support team! They are very appreciative of everyone that has stepped up to support them as they have been working through the process to find out what was causing Rudy’s pain. The medical expenses and estimates of what his surgery will cost are beginning to roll in. If you find it within your means to support them financially, they would be so appreciative.
