For over twenty five (25) years she gave to our community, with the desire to love and educate young minds.
She helped raise our children. She educated our children. her name is Rudee Summers. However we know her as MISS DEE.
Five years ago she was diagnosed with colon cancer and with her strength and determination she fought it. One month ago she was diagnosed ,her cancer had returned and it is inoperable. She is still fighting as she always has and always will. She will be taking Chemo and radiation treatments.
At this time, she is unable to work. Her friends are setting up this fund in hopes to help her with her medical expenses. There will be many trips to the hospital for her chemo treatments, radiation and numerous medical expenses.
We have also opened an account in her name at Metro Bank in Pell City, Alabama
Even though she is having this season in her life, she stands strong in her faith and she knows God's love for her will never waiver.
