I have always believed in giving my time, talent, and treasure to empower others to be their best. That passion is why I am proud to take part in Ruck for Rugrats with 5th Squad. For 11 years this tradition has brought Veterans, military families, and community supporters together to carry more than a pack — we carry hope for children at Children’s of Mississippi Hospital and support for veterans who gave so much.

Ruck for Rugrats provides the largest annual toy donation to the hospital, and through the $250 Challenge every mile we walk becomes a way to sustain 5th Squad’s year-round mission of Veterans Helping Veterans. The monetary donations help provide immediate life sustaining support, case management, and outreach to veterans and their families. The toys we collect bring smiles and comfort to kids facing difficult days, reminding them they are not forgotten.

This work matters to me because service transforms lives. When a community chooses to show up, we create real, lasting impact for both children and veterans. I am fundraising to ensure 5th Squad can continue offering support, gratitude, and essential resources to those who need it most.
