I believe every child deserves a chance to grow, heal, and thrive. For 11 years, I have joined 5th Squad in Ruck for Rugrats because I have seen how a simple toy and a caring community can bring a smile to a child in the hospital and lift the spirits of families going through hard times. That kindness matters to me because I want every little life to feel seen and supported.

Ruck for Rugrats is more than an event. It is a tradition of service, sacrifice, and community that brings together veterans, military members, families, and neighbors to stand for both children and veterans. The toys we collect become the largest annual donation to Children’s of Mississippi Hospital, and the funds raised through the $250 Challenge support 5th Squad’s year-round mission of Veterans Helping Veterans.
