Our mother Funeral expenses

Hello everyone, my name is Amanda. I am writing and making this GoFundMe on behalf of my beloved mother, Tina’s passing, and for my eight siblings. We are kindly asking for donations to help pay for funeral expenses and being able to financially support our younger siblings.

This past weekend, my mom unexpectedly left behind nine of her young children, her husband, her nine siblings, and many family and friends. This has been the hardest, most unreal feeling of grief we have all felt in our family. This will be the most difficult to overcome especially for her five older kids that lost their father already and four other younger kids that are just barely entering middle school and high school. I realize now how much it hurts knowing my younger brothers and sister won’t have the luxury of a mother watching them graduate, go to college, or get married like I did. I’m not sure how I’ll be able to cope knowing my own two children and newborn nieces and nephews won’t have their grandma anymore. How do we tell our kids their favorite person is gone? I won’t have someone to call “mom” anymore or a mother to run to for all my troubles. I’m not sure how we will all be able to move forward.

My mother, Tina, as most knew her by, was an amazing person. She was loved by so many for her selflessness and thinking of others constantly. She was always a woman of her words and always strived to be a better person. She was still so young and ambitious and everything she did was with a passion. She was the best singer and cook I knew. She was a fighter and the strongest person we all knew. Even until the very end, she didn't go without a fight; she fought so hard to live, so hard to stay. She didn't want to let go because she was so worried about her kids, but if she is watching over us right now, I want her to know that the older siblings will take care of the kids. No more suffering, mom, no more pain.

If anything, I just want to give my mom the funeral she deserves. I want my family to be able to have the funds to send her off in a way she would’ve wanted. I want us to be able to see her look beautiful and hold her one last time before she has to go and leave us all permanently. Any extra donations will be going towards making sure my younger siblings will be financially supported, fed, and any other necessities to cover their home or school life.
