Hello, my name is Ellie Patterson. My family's dog, Ruby, was hit by a car on Sunday and had to spend several days and nights in the hospital and returned home today.

I am the oldest of six kids, and my parents both work full-time jobs, but finances can be tight due to the size of our family. We will do anything for the health of our dog, Ruby, but unfortunately, veterinary costs are high, and it will impact our family. Ruby has a long recovery ahead of her and likely many more visits to the vet, but we are extremely thankful to have her still with us.
