My mom, Ruby Snyder went into the hospital at the end of March and had cardiac surgery - 3 stents placed in one artery. After initial recovery, she was discharged to go home. A day and a half later, she suffered an Ischaemic stroke. She is improving daily and is currently in rehab.

However, returning home will look a little different, and the initial transition back home requires some modifications to home, equipment and assistive devices, and a caregiver. Insurance is in place but only provides one medical device for home, and only a few hours of caregiver support - which isn't enough.

Help us help her in the steps to recovery. After 90 beautiful years of her caring for so many of us, it's time for us to surround her with all the support we can.
