Ruby's Gender Confirmation Surgery Fund

Hey there! My name is Ruby, but people also know me as CorundumCore, Core, or CC. If you don't know me, thank you for even checking out this GoFundMe in the first place!

I won't give you a story about how long I've known something was wrong or how much dysphoria has affected me my whole life; to be honest, I don't remember a lot of things from when I was just a depressed girl pretending to be a boy. What's important is that I've been able to get gender confirmation surgery scheduled for February 12th, 2025.

I'm fortunate to have decent insurance that will cover a portion of surgery, and a job that will pay me a portion of my paycheck during recovery. This GoFundMe is to cover my month stay in NYC during my immediate recovery, my travel costs to and from NYC, and making up for my reduced pay during the 3 months I'll be out of work. If y'all reading this are incredibly kind and generous, any excess of my goal will go towards paying for the things that my insurance finds an excuse not to cover.
