Hi, my name is David . I’m reaching out with a heavy heart for my 8-year-old puggle, who was recently diagnosed with stage 4 carcinoma. It’s a very aggressive cancer, and without treatment, the vets estimate she may only have 4–6 months left. Hearing this has been devastating, and I’m doing everything I can to fight for more time with her.

Her treatment is expensive — each session is $1,500, and she needs five of them. This doesn’t include the cost of chest X-rays, sonograms, or sending out blood work, which continue to add up quickly.

Ruby is one of four dogs in our home, and she’s the leader of the pack. She takes care of the others and watches over all of them, which makes this even harder on our family.

On top of this, I recently suffered two heart attacks. I’m currently out of work as I heal from these events, making it challenging for my family and I to shoulder her medical costs alone. She means the world to me, and despite everything happening at once, I’m determined to give her a chance.
