Hi there sweeties,
I'm Rubynia, a transfem character (quite the character) living in Milan, Italy.
I lost all my money trying to live in London (as a post-Brexit immigrant) my dream of being an all-around performer and event organizer. After 2+ years I find myself depleted of financial and mental resources.
I've had to move back to Milan in February 2025, also to cure my 2024 mental breakdown.
I'm asking my friends, my community and my well-wishers to donate whatever they can (if they can) to get me thru what I'd describe as the toughest part of my life so far.
I'm:
- struggling to find work (even with an degree in Urban Planning)
- struggling to be hired because I'm in the earlier stages of my transition
- living in an uncomfortable situation, which doesn't allow me to mentally convalesce and find the self-confidence to live, go out into the world and achieve my goals (quite the contrary...)
- blocked in my artistic output for the aformentioned reasons and because of my teetering mental health
If you donate, you'll be assisting me in:
- my transition medical expenses (hormones, physical doctor visits, exams, psychological therapy)
- my transition legal expenses (don't we love the State and its formalities?)
- rent or mortgage for a new home where I can restart anew and free myself from my current, suffocating chains
- gender affirming care (laser hair removal, gender affirming clothes, makeup).
