Hi, my name is Julianna, and I’m making this GoFundMe as an absolute last resort to try to save my baby girl, Ruby.

Ruby is only 4 years old and has been having seizures for the past year. What started as occasional seizures has suddenly turned into something much more severe and life-threatening. Last night, she went into a cluster episode—multiple seizures back-to-back—and had several full-body seizures within minutes, even on the way to the emergency vet.

After being put on IV medication, the seizures temporarily stopped, but when we brought her home and she was no longer on diazepam , she was completely disoriented—pacing, running into walls, panting, and not even recognizing us. It looked like permanent brain damage

then all day she was having facial seizures, Come nighttime she had another bad seizure and we had to bring her to the emerge again. This means her brain is still unstable and she is at risk of more seizures at any moment.

After being on the medication for 24 hours, she is still unfortunately having facial seizures which is terrifying us as her brain is not getting a chance to regenerate Itself

The vets have told us this may be something more serious than epilepsy, and she urgently needs an MRI to find out what’s happening in her brain.

The cost for the emergency MRI , Spinal tap , And a few other things to try to find out what is triggering these seizures Is anywhere from $5000-$7000 on top of the over $5000 we have already spent at the emergency to keep her there for three days to just keep her alive…

plus all the medication we have had to administer to try to keep the seizures at bay and the new seizure medication we’ve had to now put her on for the rest of her life that will be $500+ a month

our goal is $15000 but depending on what they find out at the MRI, we don’t know how much surgery will cost if that is what she needs, and in that case, I will raise the goal
