In loving memory of Rudy Barrera, it is with a heavy heart that I write to tell you that a good friend of ours, Rudy Barrera, passed away on October 5, 2025. He was an all-around amazing guy. He loved to shrimp boat ride like no other, he loved his Corvette, his presence lit up every room, and his absence leaves a space no one can fill. Rudy had the biggest heart, the type of person who would give the shirt off his back to help someone else. He was always there with a smile, a joke, or a helping hand. Now, it’s our turn to be there for him.

We are asking for your support to help us give Rudy the memorial he deserves, one that honors the amazing person he was and allows us to say a meaningful goodbye. It is a very painful moment for the family right now, as they are trying to arrange for the funeral. The family would like to give Rudy a respectful service that celebrates who he was and how much he was loved.
