UPDATE, January 8, 2020:   Mark starts chemo next Tuesday, January 14 @ MD Anderson in Houston.   He has been accepted into a clinical trial of the CPI-613 drug with chemo and has an amazing doctor (Dr. Lee) that is in this fight WITH him!    Mark and Theresa feel that God put Dr. Lee in their path.  Now more than ever, Mark, Theresa & Ethan need your love, your positive energy and your prayers.

Please donate and help Mark kick cancer's ass.  #RubioStrong

UPDATE,  December 19, 2019:   After additional tests, Mark's new team of doctors confirmed that the cancer is Stage 4.   Best treatment plan is being determined.  Please keep the positive love and prayers coming!

UPDATE,  December 11, 2019:  Tough news,  but Mark is a fighter and up for the challenge!    Yesterday the Oncologist confirmed Stage 3 and it has started to spread to the lymph nodes.   Because it has spread, he is not a candidate for surgical removal of the mass and he begins chemotherapy treatments on Friday, December 20, to hopefully stop the spreading.   He has an appointment for a second opinion scheduled for Thursday, December 12.

If you are reading this, there's a strong chance you have met one of the most remarkable human beings on the planet, Mark Rubio.   His infectious smile and big heart fill every room he enters, but it is his willingness to accept everyone for exactly who they are and how he enjoys the hell out of life that make him truly exceptional.

Mark is human and has made his fair share of mistakes, but one thing he has always done right is live every moment to the fullest!   He enjoys his life, loves his son, cherishes his family, adores his friends and will do anything for each one of them.   It's now our turn to do something for Mark…for Theresa and for his mini-me, Ethan.

Mark is facing his biggest challenge in life as he has recently been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and it is getting worse.    Mark's appointment with the oncologist is this Tuesday and we'll have a more definitive plan at that time.      What we know for sure is medical bills are going to pile up quickly and we want Mark to be able to focus on his health and enjoy time with his loved ones, not spend that time worried about finances or Ethan's & Theresa's future.   We're thinking long-term and BHAG (Big Harry Ass Goal) here.  Not just cover the medical bills, but ensure that Ethan is cared for as well so that Mark has peace of mind.

Whether it was on the softball field, the golf course, or trying to beat him at his most recent competitive endeavor, cornhole, most of us have admired, been inspired by or even been a "victim" of Mark's competitive spirit at one point or another.   Let's pull our collective competitive spirits together and help him kick cancer's ass!   Time is of the essence here, folks.   Game on!

NOTE:  Please stay tuned for updates.  We'll do our very best to keep the information on this page as current as possible.
