Hello Everyone,

My name is Alohilani Plescia. My daughter Rubi Lani Rosecrans was born 12/13/2020 with rare heart conditions. During my pregnancy we wasn't aware of anything and it came to us as a surprise during birth. Rubi Lani was born with an oversized pulmonary artery crushing her airway which makes her incapable to breath normal. She also has a defect called Tetralogy of Fallot that leaks the red and blue blood cells   to help create the oxygen she needs to support her body. Rubi's complications are very critical which led to her developing hydrocephalus , she has already done two brain surgeries to empty the fluid building up in her head. Rubi is now undergoing her second heart surgery here at Lucile Packard Children's Hospital (Standford California) sooner then we expected. She needs to change out her conduit to a bigger one and resize of her pulmonary artery. The conduits are provided by donors, so as she grows older she needs a bigger size, it doesn't grow with her.

I've been staying bed side with her for almost 7 months in and out of the NICU i haven't thought or wanted to do a "go fund me" in the beginning but now I'm starting to see the affects financially because i have no time to work being the advocate for my baby. Me and Rubi's father Charles Rosecrans (CJ) has moved from the Big island to Oahu so she could be closer in receiving better medical attention that Hilo doesn't have, we have been recovering at Kapiolani medical center since her last heart surgery in January.

I humbly ask for your help and support through this heart aches and trials that sees to never end. Rubi Lani is a fighter and I've never knew or met anyone stronger than her. I cant do what the doctors, surgeons, nurses, raspatory therapists can do but have faith and pray every night and declare victory in Jesus name! Rubi lani will be Healed Amen!
