Ruben's Passing Family Fund

My name is Scott Collins,  I was Ruben's supervisor and friend and want to help the Mendez family where I can.

What can one say about Ruben Mendez?

I have worked with Ruben off and on for the last 14 years, and directly with him the last 2.   Ruben was definitely the definition of kindness and devotion. 

Everything he did, he did with passion.  Regardless if it was doing a less than desirable task at work, dealing with his customers, or  talking about his family and beliefs.  He was the type of person who would befriend anyone, give you the shirt off his back, and provide you  a meal if you were hungry. He was respectful, and helpful to all who had contact with him.  An exemplary example of what a good person is.


On Jan 8th 2021 , Ruben was admitted to the hospital for symptoms of pneumonia, and  tested Covid positive.  On Jan 27 2021, he unfortunately passed away due to complications.

It was a sad, and shocking day to his family, friends and those who he worked with.

He was a devoted family man to his wife Anna, and his 2 children.  

Anything that can be done to help his wife and children, with the medical costs, and other arrangements, during this time will be appreciated.
