It's with a heavy heart that I write my dad was suddenly and unexpectedly taken from us.

On December 26th he was walking down G street near Olive Ave. In Merced, while he was walking within the crosswalk lines he was struck by a vehicle. The vehicle did not stop and left my dad there. He was left in critical condition and had to be rushed to Doctors hospital in Modesto. The doctors and nurses went through great lengths to give my dad the best opportunity possible to survive. My dad fought hard for 7 days but the injuries were just to severe to overcome and he passed away January 3rd with his family by his side. He had 2 sons, 1 daughter, fours sisters, nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends that he meant alot to and we will all miss him very much. My dad was a kindhearted person with a humble soul and it breaks our heart to have to plan his funeral. We are asking for your donations to help with these unexpected expenses.
