Hello, this is Ruben Jr, Jordan, and Mel. We apologize to all for the late responses to my Fathers and our beloved Friend’s passing AKA the one and only DJ BOOT. This is the hardest and most unexpected thing we have to go through. We know that our dad, even until his last waking day on this earth, he kept the faith. “He kept the faith kid”.

Our dad prepared us for this day, even though we always tried to end that conversation, he did prepare us because he knew when the time came it was going to hurt all of us. He knew we’d be lost without him but he left us his most prized possession, our mom, his wife, his Pretty Girl, his Peetsie. 

We are all devastated by the loss of our dad, DJ BOOT. Our family was not prepared for the cost of funeral expenses. If you are able, we would love it if you could donate to help us achieve our mission to give our dad the memorial he deserves, to honor his memory, and say our last goodbyes. Even the smallest amount will help us reach our goal.

He will live on within all of us. As our pops always said, “Don’t let the party stop, you don’t have to go home but you can’t stay here.”
