Hi everyone,

My name is Ru. I was born and raised in France but I’m originally from Martinique (French West Indies)

I’m a trans person, this year i started undergoing surgeries in order to achieve my goal : my outside matching how i feel on the inside.

As a non Binary person in Ballroom, we don’t always see a lot of representation.

At the moment i’m self financing my transition (i have been denied help from the NHS) which mean i’m paying for my hormones full price, on top of paying for my sessions of Laser Hair removal.

I found earlier this year a great clinic where i would very much like to go and have my facial surgery done.

The quote i was given (after discount) is of £22,000.

I’m aware this is quite an amount of money however i can’t put a price on my inner peace and if this is the price to pay in order to heal from Body & gender dysphoria i’m willing to do it.

As a freelancer i can’t guarantee how frequently the bookings will come and despite the fact that i’m saving, i’m aware that it would take me a very long time to reach my goal on my own.

That is the reason why today i’m calling on your generosity.

I would be forever grateful and thankful for whoever is capable and willing to contribute and help me in my journey.

My goal with this journey / transition is to reach a level of inner peace and self love but also bring awareness and be a representation for all the people out there who feel overlooked, misunderstood or who struggle to find people like them and struggle with their identities.
