Dear friends, teammates, family, and supporters,

On behalf of our league teammate at the Veteran's Ice Arena Adult Draft Hockey League, we are reaching out during an incredibly challenging time. During our afternoon games on Saturday, October 4th, 2025, one of our players, Duane Reeves, suffered a severe cardiovascular emergency and collapsed on the ice.

Due to the quick actions of other players, staff, fans, and emergency medical personnel, they were able to perform CPR to revive Duane and safely transport him to the local hospital. While everyone is thrilled that Duane survived this emergency, there remains a long road ahead to recovery. Duane sustained several broken ribs, a punctured lung, and a broken nose. On top of this, work still remains to identify the cause of this occurrence. These unexpected medical bills represent a significant burden.

This is why we are asking for your support. Your generous contributions will make a significant difference in helping Duane get back on his feet and help him focus on his recovery, not how to pay for it.
