The Tressler's Need Your Help

Gerard (Jerry) Tressler, as many of us know him was diagnosed with Adenocarcinoma  (the ugly "C" word) with the location being in his leg. He underwent immediate surgery to replace the femur with a rod and began chemotherapy, 8 of them to be exact. Jerry and Pam were very hopeful that he was making progress until they went in for a follow up, routine bone scan to see how the treatment had helped. It was on that day, that they didn't get the news they had prayed so many times for. Jerry's cancer had metastaized. Not only had it metastasized, but it wasn't to just one more area! It is now throughout his spinal cord and neck. This was certainly devastating to hear. Even after all the bad news they were determined that they would fight this together with every bit of power they had left in them. This is when the 7 rounds of radiation took place. They have both remained strong in their faith and prayers for a miracle.  However, its been even more difficult with the financial burden they have had to endure. You see this wasn't in their plan! The plan was for Jerry to retire eventually from where he had been a long-time employee and they would return home to Pennsylvania together, back to where they first met as high school sweethearts; that were reunited later in life. I believe all things happen for a reason and perhaps God's plan was for them to experience this once in a lifetime love, together and to be able to be there for one another during this difficult time. Jerry hasn't been able to work since his diagnosis which was February 13, 2017. Pam has had to take time away from her job to attend doctors appointments with him. He is curently back in the hospital and the prognosis is grim. In spite of this, Pam is continuing to go to work as much as she can, instead of being able to stay at the hospital with Jerry. The medical/healthcare expenses have exhausted any savings that they had and they continue to come in. Please help The Tresslers with any amount your heart would allow! This is devastating for everyone that knows them. They are such a kind and generous couple. Our hearts are breaking for them! Every donation counts no matter the amount and I also ask that you would share this post so that others may see it also. Thank you all so much and you all are greatly appreciated.
