Hi my name is Bella Roberts (@bella_does_editing)

I was born with a rare genetic condition called Hennekam syndrome, which gave me primary lymphedema and short stature.

Lymphedema is a physically debilitating condition which causes constant swelling. You can have lymphedema in just one limb but my case was rare in the fact that I got it everywhere.

Lymphedema causes my limbs to be extremely heavy due to the amount of fluid that is in them which means walking is very hard. A mobility scooter would change my life. It would mean I could go wherever I wanted without limitations from my walking. I love editing with a passion but it doesn't help me by keeping me inside all day. And this scooter would help me see a life outside of my computer screen.

I want to be the same as every other 21-year-old, travel and spend time with friends but I get tired just from walking around for 10 mins.

Why the high price?

I've already looked at scooters that fit my needs and the one that suits me best is the 'Moving Life Atto' mobility scooter

It's compact and folds up which means I can wheel it around and I don't need to push or carry it. This scooter is also suitable for my height (4'7)
