Support Lynda's Journey to Recovery

Hello. My name is Sean and I am a good friend of Lynda Li (Darnell).

I met Lynda a few years back, as I host karaoke around my town in a few different locations, and she is an awesome, powerful singer, who is kind, gentle, fun, unique.. A special lady.

Approximately 5 weeks ago, Lynda suffered a stroke, which sent her to the hospital. She had some brain bleed, and other issues, but luckily, she was not paralyzed on one side (which is of course typical in a stroke situation). Her movement is minor and labored, but there is some progress. She made it to a local rehab facility, where she began to get some physical rehab, then she had some heart fluttering issues, so she was sent back to the hospital. Eventually she was brought back to rehab, to continue that journey. Where she is now.

While she is in good/decent spirits, her movement is largely minimal, and it will absolutely take time for her to get back moving around, etc.. She is being sent home within a week, and I am concerned - she's aware she'll need some physical care, rehab and attention going forward..

This GOFUNDME is for Lynda's continued rehab, growing medical expenses, and having healthcare people visit her for an indefinite period as she recovers, and/or to get her to regular physical rehabilitation appointments.

A lot of you may know Lynda, and you know she is big-hearted, an incredible singer, generous with her time and spirit..

If you could help Lynda out in this time of need, she would be beyond appreciative.

I have taken it upon myself to help her, and get this started.. I have created two gofundme's in the past, and they have been successful. One for medical expenses, one for funeral expenses (not related), and I realized our community is loving, caring, generous, and aware..
