Our family house build this year was so amazing and rewarding, and I'm so thankful that I was able to be added to the build group at the last minute.
In fact, it was so wonderful that I have decided to return with my family in 2016 to build another home in Roatan Honduras.
I wish to thank everyone that donated in my son Lance's name last year. It went towards changing the lives of Miguel and Georgina and their children forever.
We have a family that was selected for next years build. I have attached photos of them. I have also included a photo of a typical home on the island and as you can see they are in need of an upgrade.
Edwin and his wife Claudia have one child, Edwin Jr, age 8 and Claudia's sister Reyna, age 17, all living under the same roof. Both Edwin and Claudia have jobs. Edwin is a taxi driver and his wife Claudia works at the airport. Edwin Jr. and Reyna are both going to school.
What are you paying for? All of your donations go to the purchase of building this home. Of the money we will raise none of it will go to my travel, room and board.
What is the cost of the home? The cost to build a typical home on the island is about $15,000.00.
