On September 8th of 2025, my nana, Karen, was diagnosed with stage 1a breast cancer. She is an incredibly loving wife and mother to 4 children and grandmother to 7 grandchildren. The news of this diagnosis was an incredible shock for her and our family as there hasn’t been anyone in her family that’s had breast cancer before. In the months since her diagnosis she has found comfort in her faith with God and the support of her friends and family. In the coming months, this will be one of the hardest battles she will ever have to fight. On November 10th she will undergo surgery to remove the lump completely and go through 5 months of chemotherapy. She will need all the support possible to stay strong throughout such a difficult time of her life. With this gofundme, the goal is to relieve any monetary stress she may have so that she can only focus on getting better.
