Helping Alan

Hi, my name is Heather and I am setting this up to help Alan and Julie out. I told Julie I would help with this so she could focus on Alan.

On Tuesday morning Alan woke up with pain in his arm. For those of us who know Alan, know he is always in some sort of pain due to his back. He assumed this pain was just his normal pain. He gets cortisone shots to help with the pain in his back and had an appointment that day. After he got his shot he got sick in the clinic and they sent him to the emergency room at St. Johns. This is where they informed him he had suffered a heart attack. The doctor's described it as a widow maker heart attack. On Friday he ended up having triple bypass surgery because his arteries were 70-90% blocked. We are very lucky he is still here with us.

This is important to me because Alan is an amazing man and always willing to help people out. He would give the shirt off his back if you needed it. With everything going on, he is going to be missing work for at least 12 weeks. That is what the doctors said his recovery time will be. He is going to need help with rent and bills, and Christmas is just around the corner. Anything you can donate will help this family stay afloat until Alan is able to go back to work. I know the stress of worrying about this stuff is something he doesn't need right now as he needs to focus on his recovery.
