Urgent Repair Needs at Community Conscience's Building
For 38 years, the Community Conscience Human Services Center has been a vital support hub for individuals and families in need. However, after decades of service, the center requires urgent repairs to secure its future.
Structural Challenges
The northeast side of the building has shown signs of instability, with cracked windows and wall fractures. A foundation specialist revealed structural shifts of 4 ¾ inches, necessitating urgent attention. Underpinning is needed to stabilize and realign the building. This meticulous process will secure the foundation for future generations, but it comes with significant costs.
Deterioration of Infrastructure
The cast iron sewer pipes, in use since the building's inception, have suffered severe corrosion, leading to frequent clogs and flooding that disrupt essential services. Without immediate action, these problems will worsen.
A Call to Action
The Community Conscience Human Services Center urgently seeks to raise $100,000, starting with an immediate goal of $15,000. Your contributions are vital to sustaining our essential services. Every dollar makes a difference—let’s make an impact together!
