Support Carmen's Road to Recovery

Its with my whole heart that I reach out to our friends, family and community during one of the most challenging times our family has faced recently, our beloved mom Carmen was involved in a harrowing car accident just down the street from her home as she was headed to work yesterday. It left her car totaled, and she was rushed to the nearest hospital after sustaining moderate injuries from all the airbags in her Corolla deploying. She has been discharged from the hospital but is now faced with the aftermath and constant reminder of how short life truly is, along with a long physical recovery road ahead.

We are optimistic that, with ongoing physical therapy, pain management, and our unwavering support, she will regain her strength and vitality. In the meantime, she will be unable to work due to the physical demands of her job, which will undoubtedly exacerbate the financial burden of accumulating medical expenses as well as other monthly household expenses. While we remain hopeful that insurance will cover the majority of these costs, we cannot help but feel a deep sense of concern for the well-being of our mom, who has always been the first to lend a helping hand, yet struggles to ask for help herself.

Es con todo mi corazón que me acerco a nuestros amigos, familiares y comunidad durante uno de los momentos más difíciles que nuestra familia ha enfrentado recientemente: nuestra querida madre Carmen estuvo involucrada en un terrible accidente automovilístico justo al final de la calle de su casa cuando se dirigía a trabajar ayer. Su automóvil quedó destrozado y la llevaron de urgencia al hospital más cercano después de sufrir lesiones moderadas debido al despliegue de todas las bolsas de aire de su Corolla. Ha sido dada de alta del hospital, pero ahora se enfrenta a las consecuencias y al recordatorio constante de lo corta que es realmente la vida, junto con un largo camino de recuperación física por delante.

Somos optimistas de que, con fisioterapia continua, manejo del dolor y nuestro apoyo inquebrantable, recuperará su fuerza y ​​vitalidad.
