“Help others without return” are my oldest brother Blaine’s words that he lives by. When anybody is in need of anything Blaine is there no questions asked.
Blaine is a father of three beautiful girls that are his pride and joy along with his precious wife, Sharon whom he loves dearly. He has also been blessed with two grandsons, Bentley and Keith.
Lately, my oldest brother Blaine has been challenged with bladder cancer. Being self employed, this has caused many financial hardships for he & his family, due to a loss of work and wages.
In Blaine’s words, “There are 4 people that I admire and live by, my grandpa Vernon, my mother Bonne, sister Heidi, and my best friend Odney. Two of these special people lost the fight to cancer. I have learned through the fallen and those present, you help without expecting anything in return. Odney called it the "Good old boy network". I know my Grandpa would agree. Odney used to say, “What you doing on a certain day doesn’t matter, when you are called upon, you just say, “What time?” I am asking for support, whether kind words or financial. My family has fallen on hard times because of my cancer struggle. Through this whole ordeal, I was unable to work for about 2 months, which we exhausted all we saved and are struggling to “stay afloat”.
