It was just another day for a beloved mother. On November 19, 2019, my colleague, Cristina  Albernaz Neves received the saddest,  most horrifying, and unbelievable news that one of her sons named Christian got killed in a car accident.  Some of us cannot imagine how it must feel to lose a child. Sadly, some of you have been through this ordeal and know the pain that comes with the loss of a child.  Please join me in praying that God strengthens her as she prepares for her son's funeral and God will give her some sense of peace as she faces this turmoil.  The unexpected funeral expense is something we can do something about and knowing that friends are there for her will help her in many ways.  No amount is too small.  Aside from financial help, your prayers will hopefully keep her going. 

After the funeral, Cristina will more than likely take off work. I know that the money raised will help with the funeral and maybe enough left to help with daily expenses until she can get back to work. 

Thank you once again for your compassion and generosity.  I am asking my friends who may not know her to consider giving and I will never forget your kindness.
