Laura Woofter is a local business owner in need of some support. Laura owns paper twigs in lake Cable Ohio. Last march,
The onset of the covid-19 pandemic threatened the closure of this local gem. With the sheer determination from Laura and the staff at paper twigs, along with the incredible support received from our community, family and clients,
we were able to survive. We bounced back just in time to face a new challenge. Our fearless leader suffered a stroke on February 9th and was hospitalized for 10 days. After leaving the hospital she was assigned to a step down unit for physical and speech therapy. While living in her home away from home, a series of unfortunate events occurred. Her health took a turn and she was ultimately life-flighted by helicopter to the Cleveland clinic, where she then suffered two heart
attacks and double cardiac arrest. Complications are still coming forth from the original situation. She is currently back in Canton at Aultman Woodlawn where she will continue on her journey becoming healthier and stronger.
Our goal is to help alleviate some of the medical expenses incurred.
Laura is such a huge supporter of our community.
She enjoys giving to charities and fundraisers and personal affairs. She has the biggest heart when it comes to giving.
We are trying to see it come full circle and give her back what she's always given out. Anyone who knows her, knows how selfless, humble & generous she is. We truly believe in our community, and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts. ♥
