Help the Hauck Family

Daryl is a 46 year old husband, and  father of 4, who  has a heart of gold and has worked very hard to provide for his family.  He has always met challenges and struggles head on.   Daryl is facing a new struggle and challenge.  He began feeling ill in October, 2018.  His illness has progressed and he was recently diagnosed with oral squamous cell carcinoma.  He has a  painful tumor on his tongue that has caused him to be unable to eat solid food, and only able to drink a liquid diet.   As a result of the pain and decreased oral intake, he has lost 40 pounds,  causing him to feel weak, fatigued, and he has been unable to work.  His doctors are in the process of staging Daryl's cancer.  Daryl has a long road ahead of him.  He is facing multiple surgeries which include removing a large portion of his tongue,  lymph nodes, a tumor in his neck, and reconstruction surgeries to reconstruct his tongue.   The 6-8 hour surgery to remove the cancerous tumor on his tongue will put him in the hospital for 5-7 days and the recovery time is estimated to be 3 months.  That is just for the first surgery!  It is unclear at this time if Daryl will need chemotherapy, but the doctors expect that he will need radiation following surgery.   Daryl's wife is unable to work due to her physical limitations that resulted from multiple accidents.  The funds collected would be used to pay rent so they can keep their apartment, utilities, help with transportation to and from the hospital which is an hour away, and to pay for medical expenses.  If you  are unable to give a monetary donation, they could use meals for the family and prayers.  If you feel that you are able to help this wonderful family in their time of need, it would be greatly appreciated.  Thank you for taking time to learn about this beautiful family!  May God bless you for your kindness.
