Greetings to all, my name is Cameron Harlan. I am a former Denby student of Doris Proby. The Denby community is mourning the loss of longtime educator Doris Proby, who dedicated 20 years of her life to teaching and uplifting students.

Ms. Proby showed what forever-lasting love looked like. Not only was she an educator, but a vibrant spirit. She gave many lessons far beyond the textbook. Beyond the classroom, Ms. Proby was a proud and enthusiastic supporter of Denby’s athletic programs. Recently, she passed away fighting her battle with lupus. We are now asking for the love she has given to us to be returned. This fundraiser honors the life and legacy of a dedicated educator who touched countless students and families. If you’re able to donate, even a little, it would mean a lot. Thank you for being part of this with us.
