Cindy “Lou” Ann Fentress, age 55 of Joelton, TN, lost her year-long battle with cancer on Friday, February 10, 2017. She was born to Carolyn Stojanowski and the late Donald Stojanowski on March 6, 1961 in Detroit, MI. Cindy was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, daughter, family member, and friend to many.
Cindy was best known for her love of cooking, cross-stitching, quilting, spending time with family, and her unconditional love for her grandchildren. Cindy was giving, loving, selfless, and always put her family’s needs ahead of her own.
She is survived by her husband, Irving Fentress, her children, Christopher Niblock, Brandon Niblock, Amber Niblock, and Jessica Fentress; her step-children, Jacob Fentress, Elizabeth Clinard, and Rebecca Miller; and her 10 grandchildren.
Cindy was one of seven children. She was preceded in death by her brother, Alan Stojanowski, and is survived by her siblings, Tami Moran, Gail Jackson, Lisa Stojanowski, Vicki Stojanowski, and Donald Stojanowski.
The family wishes to thank all of those who have cared for her during her battle with cancer. Cindy’s memorial service will be held at Austin and Bell Funeral Home in Springfield, TN on Monday February 13th. All are welcome and times are to be determined.
Finally, as an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions in lieu of flowers can be made here. The funds will be used to help with the costs of Cindy's funeral and medical bills and are dearly appreciated.
Thank you to everyone for your thoughts and prayers.
God Bless and Love,
The Family of Cindy Fentress
