(I am writing the story on this gofund me page as a means to help my dear friend Dale Robert Shaylor)
My friend Dale's mother in law had a brain aneurysm this past Friday January 11th in Venezuela & is in a coma. As most of you know, current conditions in the country of Venezuela have made it excruciatingly difficult for people to receive medical treatment of any kind.
Miraculously, there is a clinic that can obtain the meds to treat her, and have an excellent neurosurgeon on staff who will be able to operate on her, once the brain inflammation and bleeding subside. The costs to making this possible are very high. It costs $250 per day to keep her in ICU, + the costs of the meds & surgery.
I am personally asking each of my friends, + any friends you can extend this story along to, if you could please donate in order to Save Her Life. Timing is of the essence...
Her name is Mirvida Cabello and she is 62 years old. Her daughter is my friend Eva Shaylor, and Eva is married to one of my best friends, Dale Robert Shaylor. Dale is a US citizen, resident of Florida who spends part of his time in Venezuela due to his work as a pilot. The funds raised through this campaign go directly to Dale Robert Shaylor (he directly withdraws the funds from GoFundMe into his US account) Dale is then responsible for utilizing the funds to pay for Mirvida’s (his mother in law's) medications, ICU stay & upcoming brain surgery in Venezuela. He is able to do this because he is in Venezuela regularly for his work, as mentioned previously.
My heart breaks for the current situation in Venezuela (lack of food and medical attention), and for precious friends in desperate need there...
