My name is Courtney and my wife and I created this fundraiser for Michelle Marie, our next door neighbor, who is fighting for her much beloved life. We have lived next to Michelle and her three sons for nearly three years and been present for much of her cancer journey. She has been a caretaker for many others during this time and asks for nothing from us, no matter how often we offer assistance. She is a gift of sunshine that this world greatly benefits from having. Will you help us help Michelle?

Michelle’s breast cancer brawl began over four years ago. Through many twists and turns, chemos and pills, tears and hospital trips, and her constant fearless determination to survive, we have watched a beautiful person being ravaged by a crisis she did not earn, or deserve. Michelle’s willingness to try this, starve that, and do whatever it takes has never wavered. This is where our help, and yours, is needed. Where conventional medicine is failing her, Michelle is now at a stage of trying new treatments to survive and thrive. While she has worked through her entire journey and loved every moment of her job, this fight is expensive and much of the best support and treatments are not covered by insurance. The next phase of treatment carries a cost of $20,000, which does not include any additional life expenses, but we hope if we can get what is needed to cover the treatment that she may begin immediately and have the best chance of survival. We are asking for your support to help Michelle Marie make it through this stage and spend more time with her family. (All funds raised from this campaign will go directly to Michelle Marie)
