As many of you may or may not know Mom had a subderal hematoma that was bleeding into her brain. She had emergency surgery on Sept 30th to try and remove the blood clot. The Neurosuregon was confident he removed most of the blood clot but was unsure of how much was left. All hopes were on the rest of the blood clot being absorbed back into the body, and mom being okay. A week later she was released from the hospital and sent home. Mom returned to the ED the following Wednesday, they did another CT and said nothing had changed. She went to bed Friday night and, hopfeully passed peacefully, shortly after. Moms passing has come as a shock to all of us. This has happened so quickly and the funeral costs are up there. Mom was such a wonderful soul who would give the shirt off her back to someone in need.
