My sweet daughter Aimee was diagnosed with Invasive Ductal Carcinoma (IDC) Breast Cancer in April 2023. She underwent surgery to remove the tumor and has begun aggressive chemotherapy.  Unfortunately, genetic testing has identified Aimee as high-risk for reoccurrence, so her doctors have determined she'll require an Oophorectomy + Double Mastectomy and Reconstruction once she's completed her chemo and radiation treatments.

As some of you know, Aimee is a much loved 4th grade teacher at a charter elementary school in the San Fernando Valley and a devoted mom to my granddaughter and loving wife to my son in law. She's going to need all the help she can get to stay afloat during her unpaid leave from work and to cover the expenses her limited health insurance benefits won't cover.
