I’m reaching out with a hopeful heart and a vulnerable ask. I’m raising $15,000 to get a service dog who can help me reclaim something many people take for granted—the ability to leave my home with peace of mind.

At 15 years old, everything changed for me. I began experiencing seizures, that turned everyday life into something uncertain and often frightening. Since then, seizures have become a part of my daily reality. They leave me physically exhausted and emotionally drained.

The seizures have affected me in ways I never imagined. One of the hardest things has been losing the ability to read. Because of this, I had to stop school, and put that dream on hold. I rely heavily on others now, and while I’m deeply grateful for the support I have, I long for more independence.

That’s why I’m raising money to get a seizure service dog—a specially trained companion who can not only sense and respond to seizures but also provide rescue care during an episode. This dog could alert someone nearby, protect me from injury during a seizure, and even help bring me back to awareness more safely. My service dog will be my anchor when the world feels like it’s spinning—and my motivation to push through days I’d otherwise spend isolated inside.

This is where I need your help.

The initial cost to purchase and service-train one of these incredible dogs is $15,000. It’s a daunting amount, but I believe with the support of kind and generous people like you, it’s possible.
