Unexpected Medical Emergency.
I am starting up this fundraiser to help support my daughter Shelly and soon-to-be son-in-law. Today, Israel (Izzy), as known by all, was taken to the ER. What seemed to be a basic in-and-out trip has turned into something much bigger than imaginable. Izzy has been admitted into the hospital and diagnosed with stage 5 kidney failure, and his kidney function is dangerously low at 3%. This day has changed everything for them both, and their world has been turned upside down! Shelly and Izzy just got engaged on September 28th after dating for 5 years and plan to wed in April of 2026. They also recently started a window cleaning and new construction clean-up business that is just really taking off. They are growing it and love what they do. Izzy's dream is to have his own business, and believe me, he has such drive and ambition. He is a hardworking, dedicated man, and stepfather to Madison and Mason. They are lucky to have him in their lives as he has stepped up in every way to provide for them and help raise them in a stable home. He has become a part of our family, and we care deeply for him. Izzy will have an extremely hard road ahead of him, and his prognosis can't be determined yet. He will have to undergo dialysis to try and see if more kidney function can be restored. This is a devastating time for them as he is uninsured and will be in the hospital for an undetermined amount of time and will need care moving forward. Not only can he not work, but they work together as a team, and they will need to figure out what happens next as everything is at a standstill until he is stable or makes progress, God willing. If there is one thing that we know, it is that with God, all things are possible. This little family is already going through so much, and I hope that if you can help them in any way possible, we all will be eternally grateful. They could really use our support and help with the essential financial burden of medical bills and living expenses. Izzy needs to focus on fighting this fight, focusing on healing, and not stressing about just trying to make ends meet. Please keep them all in your prayers as they navigate through this difficult time. I will provide updates as soon as we learn more.
