Our daughter Rebecca had a love for music. During her time at Indian Hills High School, she was active in Wind Ensemble, Jazz Band and Marching Band. It was through band that she had many friendships, and it was music that helped Rebecca escape the complexities of adolescence.

Each year, the Rebecca Natalia Klenk Memorial Scholarship is awarded to a graduating Indian Hills High School band member. Applicants are asked to author an essay with suggestions for bringing more awareness to mental health. These essays provide student perspective regarding mental health, which help us to collaborate with our schools and our community to develop and maintain psychological well-being and positive mental health outcomes.
