I’m fundraising for my lovely friend Gemma, whose world has been turned upside down. Yesterday Gemma’s mam flew out to Palma with her son for a holiday. On the first day, she suffered a sudden heart attack.

With little communication from abroad, Gemma is worried sick back home. To make things even worse the travel insurance was void because it doesn’t cover heart conditions. She was rushed into a private hospital where bills are already at £1,800- £2,500 per day just to keep her there. due to her condition she cannot be moved, and if she doesn’t improve soon, Gemma will need to fly out to be with her.

This is every daughters worst nightmare, thinking your mam was safe on holiday but soon turned into a medical emergency with overwhelming costs. We are asking for any support you can give, big or small, to help cover her medical bills, ongoing care.. and if needed, travel expenses for Gemma.
