RSD South Africa Tour 2026 & Air Ambulance NI Fundraiser
Donation protected
Hi - My name is Jennifer Comac and my son Ben has been selected to join the school sports tour to South Africa in 2026 (made up of Rugby and Hockey players from the School). On 28th June 2025 my husband Justin Comac (along with his brother Jonathon and friends Alistair Greaves and John McGerr) are doing a sponsored cycle from the Royal School Dungannon to Sligo and back (over 200 miles total over two days) to raise money towards the Tour Funds as well as towards the charity Air Ambulance NI.
The charity Air Ambulance Northern Ireland, in partnership with the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service, provides the Helicopter Emergency Medical Service for Northern Ireland. The service brings urgent medical assistance to anywhere in the province, operating seven days a week for 12 hours per day. The HEMS team attend patients who are seriously ill or injured, bringing emergency pre-hospital care direct to the casualty with the aim of saving lives, brains and limbs. The aircraft can reach anywhere in Northern Ireland in approximately twenty-five minutes. On average the medical team are called upon twice every day, whether that is as a result of a serious road traffic collision, farm or workplace accident, sport and leisure incident or a serious medical emergency.
Any money raised will be split between the RSD South Africa Tour 2026 Fund and the Air Ambulance NI.
Thank you in advance for your support.
