Help Dimitri Achieve Gender-Affirming Surgery

Hi there!

I'm a trans man named Dimitri. I have been battling gender dysphoria and am looking forward to getting top surgery this July. I have been on hormones for the past two years, and they have made a world of difference for me! I know top surgery will be deeply gender-affirming and help me move towards peace.

My out-of-pocket insurance cost for the procedure is $8,000, and I will be out of work for several weeks afterward. I work as a veterinary technician and don't make enough to live beyond paycheck to paycheck, so I will also need about $2,000 to cover living expenses during recovery.

I am working to gather as much money as I can to fund this surgery on my own, but between debt payments, living expenses, and school payments (I'm in an MSW program at Boston University), my wife and I are struggling to find the funds.
