We are raising funds to cover legal expenses to appeal the City's decision to keep us off the TRS ballot. The City made the determination on the basis of a claim that our petition was not formatted correctly even though it was formatted consistent with both the law and the format that has been deemed valid in years past. Over 1300 supporters signed our petition (1000 are required to get on the ballot) and we believe the matter should be rectified to hold a contested election. Surplus funds, if available, will be used to promote future campaigns (mailing, printing flyers, etc.)
