Stacy's Recovery Fund

Hello! I am working to raise funds for my beautiful friend Stacy. On Friday June 21st she was involved in a horrific accident involving a city bus hitting her wheel chair. Tragically, it resulted in the loss of her amazing companion dog, Spicy. He was a huge part of her life and has been a true friend to her. He will be missed dearly. The accident also resulted in Stacy being admitted to the hospital after significant damage to her shoulder and arm. Currently, she is in good health and recovering well at a rehab center.

Stacy has always been one of the most positive and thoughtful person I have come across. She has been in a wheelchair after a stroke 10 years ago. She inspires people she meets every day, still living her life to the fullest with independence. She is always out visiting friends, attending events, museums, and would take Spicy to the dog park everyday! She has even helped to implement ADA accessible signage at Liberty Station for others to be able to live an independent lifestyle!

Her wheelchair was damaged during the accident and we are unsure if it's operational, leaving her with no mode of transportation when she is cleared from the rehab center. If you could please help in any way you can, I can't think of someone who deserves it more!
