My name is Lauryn and I am a mother of two beautiful boys and a wife to an amazing husband. Over the past 4 years I have gone through a complete 180 of my life. I was working full time as a social worker, full time college student and was playing shows as 1/2 of LovelyBones. Since November 2021 everything has gone downhill for me health-wise. I started to notice in November 2021 that I began to lose a lot of weight very suddenly. I went down from 148 pounds to 125 and continued to lose weight for no reason. Within 6 months I had symptoms of hair loss, chronic fatigue, joint pain, headaches, frequent infections and much more. As of August 2022, I lost my job because I was too fatigued to wake up in the morning, I kept calling into work and had severe joint pain. I withdrew from college because I had brain fog, concentration problems and trouble remembering things. I also paused my music project because I was too ill to travel or stay up late to play shows. I have trouble being outside for long periods of time and that causes me to miss out on some of my son’s baseball games I literally have lost everything due to my health.

Fast forward to today and I am worse than ever before. I am chronically fatigued, have severe joint pain, hair loss, joint pain and sun sensitivity. I currently weigh 108 pounds and can’t gain any weight and my PCP is concerned for my health. I’ve had a heart monitor to monitor heart palpitations and chest pain. My health has completely taken over my life, my depression and anxiety are at an all time high. I don’t know what happened to me the real me. I don’t know this person that I see in the mirror. The dark bags underneath my eyes seem permanent and my eyes are always tired and red. I am losing hair and breaking out all over my face because of how sick I am. I began to question how I got sick so fast and so sudden. I began looking back at pictures to see when my health began to go downhill and it seemed to have happened right after I got my breast implants. I researched breast implant symptoms or complications and found “Breast Implant Illness” and watched video testimonies of women just like me. They all have the similar symptoms and had to get their implants removed because their health was deteriorating. After they had a breast implant removal their health went back to normal. It finally clicked that maybe the reason I’ve been so sick is because of my implants. I am so sick to my stomach if this is the reason I’ve been so sick. Have my implants made me lose 3 years of my life? Over the past 3 years, I’ve literally stopped living because it became hard to. I am to get my implants removed because of this is the reason I’m sick I want them out of me. I haven’t worked in 2 years and I am asking for help from my family, friends and social media friends. Help me get my life back, whether it be $5 or $1, anything will help me. All donations will go towards my breast implant removal surgery, anesthesia fees and surgeon fees.
