Hello everyone,

We have created this fundraiser as our family navigates the heartbreaking loss of our father, Jean-Pierre, who passed away on 20 February 2026 at the age of 70. Just two months before his passing, he was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML), an aggressive form of blood cancer that progressed very quickly.

Our dad meant so much to so many people. He was the kind of person who always showed up for others. He truly believed in helping others and made a lasting difference in many lives.

To us, he was a loving father and husband, and a constant source of encouragement. To many others, he was a mentor, a friend, and someone people could rely on.

Losing him has been incredibly difficult for our family. During this time, we are also facing the unexpected costs that come with funeral arrangements.

We created this GoFundMe in hopes of easing some of the financial burden while we focus on grieving and honouring his memory. Any support, whether through a donation or simply sharing this page, would mean the world to our family.
