New Football Powerchair Fundraising

My name is Ross, I have an undiagnosed Progressive Muscle Disorder which affects all the muscles in my body.  When I was born I followed the same development as any other baby, as I grew into a toddler it soon became apparent that my physical development had slowed down.  No medical professionals have been able to diagnose my condition.  All we know is that I continue to deteriorate.

I am part of a unique up and coming sport for people with physical disabilities that is continuing to become more and more popular.  This sport is powerchair football and I play for the Evergreen PFC team based in Watford!  It is similar to normal football, but players use a specially designed electric wheelchair to hit the ball instead of using their feet.  I started playing 7 years ago and now compete at National Level.

The sport is evolving and a new model of powerchair is being introduced which is faster and more agile than the one being used at the moment.  They are smaller, lighter, have a faster turning circle and are dramatically more agile, making the game much faster and more exciting to play and watch.

To enable me to continue to play in the Premiership League and stay competitive in the sport it would be beneficial for me to purchase one of these new powerchairs and it would be great if you could help!  Any donations raised no matter how small, will help towards the funding of a new chair, and will be gratefully received.
