PLEASE HELP US REACH OUR GOAL
We have saved a large amount of pets in need in the last few months and many of them have needed or are in need of extensive medical treatment. These pets require care, feed, and veterinary treatment that so many of them have been lacking throughout their lives.
The recent intakes have vastly depleted all of our resources and we have a large vet bill due. We need your help to pay off that vet bill and to help us recover what little vet funds we have. Our current vet bill is in the 5 figure range $XX,XXX and we need to pay that down immediately. The furry friends we save deserve our care, love, and support. Without you these pets would not be healing and finding the lives they deserve.
KAREN AFTER MONTHS OF WORK AND TREATMENTS
Karen is one of those dogs that has needed more help than usual. This beautiful girl was dumped in the woods by a breeder. She was emaciated, highly heartworm positive, scared, and infested with parasites. It was very apparent to us that she had had many litters over her life time and now that she was sick the Breeder decided to dump her in the woods to find a new home. We took this sweet scared girl in and have worked with her for months to help save her life. She is now almost done with her months of heartworm treatment and months of rehabilitation and will shortly be healthy enough to be spayed and find her forever home.
BEAN IN HER COMFY BED
Bean is another little lady who is in need of more extensive vetting than usual. This sweet little old lady came in because she was not doing well at all at the shelter. Bean was picked up as a stray by a local ACO and her nails were curling into her pads and her teeth were rotting out of her mouth. She showed signs of having her feet bound at one time (whether from being caught while roaming or having it intentionally done we don't know). She is in need of a dental cleaning and has a heart murmur which is being monitored at this time to see what precautions will need to be taken for her dental surgery. This little lady deserves the love and compassion we can give her and we can't do that without your support.
These are just a few examples of the many pets that came in needing extra care. Please help us to help them.
